We ask that families provider whatever your child needs: water, formula, breastmilk, bottles, a bassinet or sleeping area, access to diapers, and whatever clothing or items you feel the baby should have. Also, please provide a room with a flat surface and a chair for feeding the baby. For overnight care, a horizontal sleep space in the same room as the baby or with a monitor is necessary, this allows the caregiver to rest when the baby is sleeping while remaining fully responsive to their needs.

Families reach out for postpartum and newborn support for all kinds of reasons, and there's rarely just one. Many are recovering from a C-section and need extra hands while they heal. Others are first-time parents who want guidance building confidence in those early weeks, or families adjusting to the added demands of twins. Support is also common when a partner returns to work and the household suddenly has one less set of hands during the day. And for many families, it comes down to the basics: sleep deprivation that's taking a real toll, or simply feeling anxious about newborn care and wanting an experienced presence in the home. Whatever the reason, hiring help is a normal, smart step, that can help families feel confident, supported and empowered.
